The Touchless 15‑Second Visual Timer provides a standardized visual countdown that helps healthcare professionals consistently complete these time‑based tasks without relying on mental counting or external timing devices.

The timer supports workflow consistency and timing awareness and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

The Time Timer® PRO Applied® Touchless 15‑Second Visual Timer is a digital visual timer intended for use by healthcare professionals to support compliance with established timing and sanitization practices.

The 15-Second Timer operates silently. There is no option for an alert at the end of timing.  This was done intentionally in order to not contribute to alarm fatigue in clinical settings.  Feedback from nursing staff also noted that the silent operation was not disruptive during night time medication administration.  It was also noted that the illuminated display was very helpful and less disruptive at night in a dimly-lit patient room.

The timer includes an IV Pole clamp. It can also be set on a flat surface or mounted to a wall via nail or screw (mounting equipment not included).

The device should be cleaned in accordance with standard cleaning protocols for non-critical equipment.

Follow your organization’s or care provider’s approved procedures for disinfecting external device surfaces, ensuring compatibility with the materials of the device. The device is water resistant and can be cleaned by wiping with alcohol-based disinfectants or damp cloth and soap.

This timer is a standalone visual tool designed to support workflow at the point of care. It does not require IT systems, installation, or integration, allowing for simple implementation in a wide range of environments. However, it does require 3 AA batteries (not included) to operate.
